Coverday Friday 22

At the Other End:

June and Day arrive in Vegas just as the unthinkable happens: the Elector Primo dies, and his son Anden takes his place. With the Republic edging closer to chaos, the two join a group of Patriot rebels eager to help Day rescue his brother and offer passage to the Colonies. They have only one request—June and Day must assassinate the new Elector.

It’s their chance to change the nation, to give voice to a people silenced for too long.

But as June realizes this Elector is nothing like his father, she’s haunted by the choice ahead. What if Anden is a new beginning? What if revolution must be more than loss and vengeance, anger and blood—what if the Patriots are wrong?

I write young adult novels, and have a special love for dystopian books. Ironically, I was born in 1984. Before becoming a full-time writer, I was an Art Director at a video game company. Now I shuffle around at home and talk to myself a lot. :)

Prodigy (Legend #2)
By Marie Lu

Why Hello There:
I love the grungy look to this cover, as well as the stencil like design, spraypaint look-y and the big bold, stand out font used. It's plain and simple and is amazing on it's own. There's not much to say about this cover really, a simple design to a simple description.

The Consideration Game:
Well...... see here's the problem......... I haven't read Legend yet...... No I have not been hiding in a cave :/ I just never got around to reading Legend. So really with this, when I read Legend I will read this as well. Even if I don't like Legend, I'm one of those people who HAVE TO finish a series no matter how bad it is... Although, from what I've been hearing about Legend (&& Prodigy), I don't think I'll need to worry about not liking it.
