Interview with Faith Sullivan, author of Take Me Now

At the Other End:
How do you survive the internship from hell?

Don't fall in love.

Ivy thought being a reporter-in-training at the Independent Gazette would be her dream summer job. Little did she know, interviewing Eric, a landscaper with a heart of gold, would derail her plans. It turns out Ivy's boss, Lauren, has been eying his chiseled physique for quite some time.

But at twenty-four, Eric already has a tragic past, one that he is still reeling from. Even though his ordeal turned him into some sort of local celebrity, it's been a while since he's shared his bed with anyone. When he comes to Ivy's rescue out of the blue, it's not long before the two of them start seeing each other behind Lauren's back. When they get caught, Ivy's journey toward a college degree is jeopardized and her relationship with Eric is severely put to the test.

Career versus love? In the end, a shocking turn of events provides Ivy with a revelation she never saw coming.

Author Bio:
I really hate talking about myself. My goal is to have the shortest author bio imaginable. I would much rather have a conversation with my readers.

Are you able to escape within my pages?
Does my writing make you feel something?
Are there characters that you can't get out of your head?

Let me know!

Take A Seat. Get Strapped In. Let's Go For A Ride:

1. Where have we seen you before? (previous projects/works)
I'm the author that readers wants to kill for the endings I give the books in my HEARTBEAT series.

2. What goes through your mind after your novel has been on sale for the first week?
Please let it break even so that I can at least earn back my investment in the cover design, editing, ebook formatting, etc.

3. What inspired you to write this novel?
New Adult novels deal with the college setting and I haven't read many that deal with internships. So I wanted to give it a shot.

4. What do you think about when getting/seeing negative reviews?
I obviously didn't click with those particular readers. They didn't get what I was trying to say.

5. How long was the writing/planning process?
For me, this novel was the easiest to write. It just flowed. The entire process from start to finish seemed so natural. I wasn't fighting myself like I usually do, so I was able to finish the manuscript within 5-6 weeks, a new record for me.

6. What was your reaction to the cover art when you saw it for the first time? Did you have any ideas from the days of writing/inspiration?
I wanted it to be tastefully sexy and many readers have said it is their favorite cover of mine to date.

7. Any plans for future writing projects? Any being worked on now?
I'm working on the final book of the HEARTBEAT trilogy, I AM YOURS. It's set to be released in October 2013.

8. Top  5  10 books (I have to name 10!)

1) IF YOU STAY by Courtney Cole
2) THE SPACE BETWEEN by Victoria H. Smith
3) PRECIOUS THINGS by Stephanie Parent
4) ROMANCING THE R.A. by Ashelyn Drake
5) THE CHEMISTRY OF FATE by Meradeth Houston
6) GIRL WITH GUITAR by Caisey Quinn
8) THOSE FOUR LETTER WORDS by Christina Channelle
9) HOLDING ON TIGHT by Maria Monteiro
10) LOVE ALL by Kelly Hashway

9. What book/s from other authors do you wish you had written?
EASY by Tammara Webber because she handled such a difficult subject with tenderness and grace. Plus Lucas is pretty hot, too.

10. Why read your novel?
So you can feel something.
