My Favorite Diamond Sister
Courtney!!

I absolutely love Courtney, and I'm sure that I'm not alone in this. She is one of us, a booklover, and we can easily relate to her and her personality. Everything that she says and does, is because she thinks before she acts, and she quickly adapts to any situation. She takes care of her sisters, and does what is best for them. She takes the good things out of any situation and tries to make it work for her sisters and herself. She is strict on following the rules, even though wanting to do somethings that are against the rules, will tear her up inside while trying to follow them.

She is so easy to relate to, and we connect with her so easily. She becomes a part of us and we want to read more about her, and her struggles. Every chapter she is in, I love every minute of her experiences. I love her relationship with Brett, even though she is not supposed to date him, they enjoy each others company because they like the same things and enjoy going around the city.

I love how she does what she likes, she isn't like Savannah, where she will do anything someone tells her to do because she wants them to like her. Courtney, wants friends because they like her, not because of her new-found wealth, or who her father is. She holds true to her beliefs and to what she likes in a person. She won't care if doing one thing will make some other person unhappy, because she relies only on herself and to take care of her sisters.

I wish she was a little like Peyton in the way that she speaks her mind and more defiantly sticks up for her sisters. Courtney does this on the quiet and polite, but Peyton does it so brash and honest that it makes others see it straight away, and not put it in the back of their minds.

In the next book, I wish Courtney and Brett get to be together. They are perfect for each other, and I hate how they have to hide it from each other because it's against the rules.
