Stacking the Shelves (10)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
I was in book heaven this week! Such purrrrdy covers *stroke*

Oh, and yes, it's a bit early for a Friday to be posting this, but it fit the schedule nicer this way :)

Review:
Thank you Penguin Australia, Harlequin Australia, Allen & Unwin Australia, and Bloomsbury Australia for sending me these review copies!

Thanks to Penguin Australia
Dangerous Creatures (Dangerous Creatures #1) by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl
OK, so I haven't actually finished reading the Beautiful Creatures series, but I did love Link and Ridley :) Excited for this!

Thanks to Harlequin Australia
The Dark World by Cara Lynn Schultz
Take Me On (Pushing the Limits #4) by Katie McGarry
New KATIE MCGARRY! WHOOOOO! *hides it before mum takes it*. Hmmm, I've read Cara's books before, and this one sounds intriguing. Definitely have seen some mixed reviews of this one...

Thanks to Allen & Unwin Australia
Rebel (Reboot #2) by Amy Tintera
I loved Reboot! Can't wait to see where this goes. Also, make sure you check out my stop on the Allen & Unwin Australian Blog Tour for Rebel, 28 May 2014 (plus, there might possibly be a giveaway)

Thanks to Bloomsbury Australia
Chasing Stars (After Eden #2) by Helen Douglas
The first book, After Eden, had me stuck in the middle, so I'm hoping that this one will be better! Plus the cover is gorgeous :)

Purchased:
Oops, kind of went of a bit of a spending spree this week. And I still have more on the way :/

Hunger (Gone #2) & Plague (Gone #4) by Michael Grant
So, I got just a bit too excited when I saw these (and I haven't even read them yet!). Next thing I knew, I was at the checkout..... Now, when can I go buy the rest?

The Prey (The Hunt #2) by Andrew Fukuda
I really need to read this series. All I've been hearing is good things :)

Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Purdy cover....

Stormbringers (Order of Darkness #2) by Philipa Gregory
Thought I'd try this one, I haven't read any Philipa Gregory before!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #1) by Laini Taylor
Seriously, this series is all I ever hear about these days. About time I got my hands on it! Ohhhh, shiny *stares bug eyed at book and strokes*

Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand
I've been meaning to pick up this series for a while now, especially because these covers are way better than the US covers

Speaking of the Gone series......
Diva Booknerd and I will be doing a Gone Read-Along! We should be starting the first week of June. Expect discussions weekly on the chapters read that week at both sites. If you want to join in the fun, starting will commence Monday 2 June, with 2 chapters per night. Then let us know what you thought in our discussion, posted at the end of the week!

Bookmarks!
So, I haven't done bookmarks yet for some of these particular books, but here are the ones for the rest of the series!

    1. HOW AMAZING ARE THEY!!! I saw them at Big W *grabby hands* and because I am sad, and haven't read the series yet, I didn't realize they I didn't pick up the right one.... 4th instead of the 3rd. Still need to go back anyway ;) the others are lonely. I have so many feels right now at the end of Rebel! GAHH I can't explain the awesomeness. That sounds like a very good idea! haha

  2. Dangerous Creatures looks soooooo purty. If I could reach into the computer and touch it... maybe enough to grab it... (I'm totally not sorry for being a creep.) That version of The Dark World is gorgeous as well! And awesome bookmarks. BTW, I'm a new follower. I can't wait to discuss books with you!

    1. It's even prettier in real life *sighs*. It's all shinny :) haha I don't blame you, and I'm pretty sure we're all creeps here with our *grabby hands* at infinite amounts of books. I wish it was shinny on the swirls, just to make it even more pretty. Thank you!! Hopefully I get the chance to do a bookmark for Dangerous Creatures, and I will send it to you :) Now off to stalk your blog! (see, we're all creeps LOL)

    1. Definitely was feeling in heaven! I saw the link to Basement Books from Kelly and then I sort of went into wonderland and brought a whole heap of books :D I think I've been there once before though..... Not sure. I'm going to have to revisit it! Yes, the new covers are amazing! And they look so good as well :) Sort of happy now that I didn't have a chance to pick up this series until now, so my covers will all match! I'll let you know if it happens!

  7. Ooh, those Gone covers are so cool! I have Gone and Hunger but I haven't read them yet, hopefully I'll get round to it soon. Happy reading! By the way, if you're experiencing less comments today, when I clicked your link inlinks told me the page didn't exist. I don't know if this an error only I've received or if other people have too... :/
