Stacking the Shelves (11)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
A sad week in book world. Only TWO! Oh, the bookish horror!

Purchased:
Everbound (Everneath #2) by Brodi Ashton
So.... it looks like I'm getting them backwards haha. Now I just have to get the frst one!

Where She Went (If I Stay #2) by Gayle Forman
With the upcoming movie, I decided to purchase these books! But you know Book Depository, casually sends out the second one first.... Plus, I'm getting my younger sister into reading books, and she wants to start with this series before the movie! Total Book Domination :D

  1. I have yet to read Everneath, but would like to. It is good to hear that you are getting your sister to chip in. I recently combined efforts with two others. It has been a lot more fun and a lot less stress. Enjoy your books.

    1. I'm very proud of my sister getting into books (well, getting into this book), she isn't a reader, so it's like, come to the dark side.... we have cookies and books. Thanks!

  2. I didn't know If I Stay was a series!! I want to read it before the movie comes out (plus: cellist, right?! I love me some cello). Go the book domination, though!! xD

    1. Yes! It's set a year or so from If I Stay. Same here! I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry in the book *sigh*. hehe always time for some good old book domination :)

  3. Two books is better than no books! :P Gaah, that's what I dislike about TBD, the wait time for books and how sometimes they send you the wrong version or the second in the series first. Boo! But I'm hoping to start If I Stay before watching the movie as well. Let me know what you think, and how many tissues I'll need! :P

    1. This is true. Yes! They are usually alright with the shipping wait, I usually get mine on the 7 day mark (even though it's 7-10 days for us), and they fit in my mail box so I don't have to wait an extra day to get them from the post office! Buddy read If I Stay? I'm not sure when I'm going to read it, but definitely before the movie. Or I will wait until after, depending on how book-movie reviews come in.

  4. Only two, but they look really good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who gathers a series from the last book to the first book. Come see what I got at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

  5. Only two AWESOME titles, which is so much better than a box full of crap ones. You haven't read the Everneath series? Tsk tsk, too busy making those gorgeous bookmarks. Loved book one, but the series fizzled out for me a tad. Where she went, ahh, I loved the duology. Book one was just so different at the time when I'd read it, so emotional. I didn't know they were making a movie. They're not casting the Divergent girl in this as well are they?

    1. haha very very true! And the covers are equally as awesome! Nope, not yet! I couldn't resist making bookmarks out of the pretty pretty covers!! How many tissues do you need for this series? Yeah, the trailer looks really good. Nope, not the Divergent girl (again), but the girl who plays Hit Girl in Kick Ass.

  6. I have yet to read Everneath, but so many readers love this series. I'm just a little wary because of the love triangles, but those covers are just so pretty! :)
I'm probably one of the only readers who hasn't read anything by Gayle Foreman. I'm definitely going to be reading them before the movie comes out though.
Enjoy your books this week! :)

    1. That's the same as me, but I'm hoping that it isn't a real frustrating love triangle, if you get what I mean..... Oh they are absolutely gorgeous! Especially with the smokey effect and everything!
haha *high five* I haven't read any of her books either, so hopefully reading this book/series is the start of a beautiful reader-book relationship :D Thank you!
