Author Bio:
I LOVE Starbucks’ White Mocha Latte and Mountain Dew, (but not together). I have a lead foot so I set cruise control when I drive, even in 25 MPH zones. I almost never win when I play Angry Birds, but have my 9 year old close, so he can clear the hard levels for me. I grew up on a farm and am opposed to eating fresh chicken (not opposed to meat - just opposed to any meat that was alive a few hours before lunch). I am a huge fan of the show, Big Bang Theory, on CBS.  I have two fantastic sons, three rotten dogs and a husband that I adore.

Sum Up:
The perfect ending for a perfect series. Leaves you feeling excited, teary and oh so in love.

Behind the 240 Pages

I absolutely love this series. It’s so refreshing, like seriously, how many books have you read on Centaurs????? Well, this also borders along New-Adult because of the characters ages (23 ish), and the semi-sex scenes (semi because it’s more than you would get in a YA book, but not full on detail like some other NA’s). I only had one problem in this book, but other than that, it was as flawless as the rest of the series.

That ending was just perfect. I didn’t really know why it stopped where it did, but now that I think about it, it finished at a great point, with meaningful words especially by the one that said them (not who you think). Everything was brought together very cleanly and smoothly. It was easy to fall into the ending and to be comfortable with how the story finished. All the loose ends were tied, and there was a bit at the end that was a complete surprise to me! I started getting teary, but didn’t cry because I was still in shock!

Once again, I love Cami and Drake. They are perfect for each other, and they are both fierce and protective. I loved every moment we had with them, even ones where we only had one or the other. Cami is as snarky as ever, and she puts her foot down at all the right times, she stands up for what she believes in, and still has that massive heart of hers. So, not that this bit here is bad, but Nancy told me that this was more of Cami and Drake’s book, not just Cami (which is why Drake is on the cover), but I didn’t really get the feeling that this was both Cami and Drake’s in the way that she told me. Maybe it’s just me, and I was expecting more because I know this. Sure, it does have a whole heap of Cami and Drake, but the journey is mainly Cami (as is with the rest of the series). Like I said though, this wasn’t the bit that brought it down half a rating. I’m just more curious on this.

So, the little bit of bad. The ONLY complaint I have with this book, was that everything was too easy for Cami. There were no struggles in this book, and she seemed to have all the answers that no one else did, even though it was right in front of their eyes, and she easily convinced everyone (even a GOD!) more easily than I would have thought. I know it all works out because of this, but I found it a tad annoying that she was the first one to discover this, when anyone else could have. This book proves that there is just as much power in words as there is physical strength, and that is seriously amazing for a final book in a series full of powerful Centaurs.

I wish I could say more, but because it’s the final book I can’t without giving away spoilers.

This series is absolute perfection! You should definitely go and buy it right now J WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??

  1. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing Centaur Redemption! I'm glad you enjoyed it and the whole series. I plan to add other books to the series in the future, but those will be focused on other characters while Drake and Cami enjoy their HEA and become secondary characters. I love that you went on this journey with me. Happy Reading, Nancy
