Stacking the Shelves (15)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
Gotta love end of financial year sales :D

Writing Clementine by Kate Gordon
This one sounds really good, I can't wait for it! Be on the look out for my stop on the Writing Clementine Australia Blog Tour on 25 June, interviewing Kate!

Thanks to Simon & Schuster Australia
Beautiful Oblivion by Jamie McGuire
OMGGGGGGGGG I can't wait for this!!!!!! Even though I knew it would be coming, I really didn't expect it to be coming so soon!!!!

Purchased:
Purchased from Harlequin's massive paperback sale!
The Returned by Jason Mott (for my mum), Touch of Power by Maria V Snyder (because I only had the original green/yellow cover), and Sacrifice by Cayla Kluver (because I've heard good things about this series)

  1. Great hail this week Gina. I had no idea who Lizzie was l recently but looking forward to grabbing a copy when it's out. I can't wait to see what you think of Beautiful Oblivion. I loathed Travis so I that the series is far better than the original. I love the mid year sales, but I've spent nearly $200 in the last three weeks just on books. I need someone to give me a slap if I try to purchase any more in the next month at least.

    1. Thanks! Who is Lizzie haha? I really hope I like it, I pretty much devoured Beautiful Disaster, but I admit, I got frustrated with Abby and Travis at times (and hated him for the stupid shit that he would do). I wish I could spend that much. I have these random "one click" moments, when I go on a online store and just buy, not even realizing what I'm doing until the order has been put through haha. I did that with buying the entire Grisha Trilogy the other day..... Yeah, I was like goodbye money....

    1. I love the cover too! It's so quirky. Same here, it is only a short book (which I only realized when I got it), so hopefully it's a quick fun read.

  6. Beautiful Oblivion has such a beautiful cover, but the first book in the series didn't work for me, so I don't think I'll be reading it. :( I hope you enjoy it though! :)
Also yay for Touch of Power! Loved that book.
    Happy reading!

  11. Oh my god! Must. Read. Beautiful Oblivion! I've enjoyed the previous two books so I wonder what this will be like. I understand why Kristy has heard mixed things. There are some things in them that are kind of uncomfortable but still good stories. The rest of your haul looks good too! Hope you enjoy them all. 1. YES. It's a necessity! Same here. Yeah, I can see where she's coming from, especially because of the things that the characters do and how their relationship is literally a beautiful disaster. Thanks!
