Stacking the Shelves (24)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
EEEEEEEPPPP *runs around house screaming from the goodies*

Thank you Allen and Unwin Australia for sending me this review copy!

Chasing Before (The Memory Chronicles #2) by Lenore Appelhans
I absolutely loved the first book in this series, and cannot wait to start this one. Although, I think I'm going to have to refresh my memory, and read the first book again. Usually I hate cover makeovers after the first book has come out, but I'm so in love with these new covers, it's crazy. Fingers crossed that A&U bring out the first book in the new cover (and the new title)

and now the reverse side....
Thanks to Bloomsbury Australia (SONIA!!)
When I got this in the post this morning, I opened it at work, and I squealed. Now everyone probably thinks I'm crazy...
Words cannot express my feelings right now. Let me explain my feelings in gifs:
(losing it in a good way haha)

Won from Jean at Happy Indulgence Books!
I can't wait to get stuck into this one! I've heard all the very best of from this book, and the anticipation to read it is constantly building! Plus, the author is soooo nice and friendly on Twitter!

  1. SOBBING about the Throne of Glass tote. How did you get thissssssss? I want one so badly and I must admit that I am jealous (in a good way because I am also happy for you :D).

I got Chasing Before, as well, and I cannot wait to see what happens. I thought the ending of Level 2 was rushy, so I'm glad that we get to read more of this story. :D

Spark is really good, and the author is the sweetest in the world.

I hope you enjoy your goodies, Gina. USE THE BAG FOR PRECIOUS LIFE-CHANGING OCCASIONS, ONLY. PROTECT THE PRECIOUS.

    1. AHHHHHHHH I KNOWWW. I was practically sobbing at work (partly another reason why they think I'm crazy). Sonia sent one to me! She said they are super-limited edition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember what happened in Level 2, so hopefully I get to re-read it before I read Chasing Before.

Awesome! That just makes me want to read it even more :D

haha I shall! I am using it on Monday for the Laini Taylor Bloggers Event :D If people try to steal it, I'm going to be like, "my precious" and "PROTECT THE PRECIOUS *hisses*"

  2. Amazing goodies! I have to admit, Chasing Before looks nothing like I remember Level 2 looking, they look like completely different books. The Memory Of After is a great cover but I do hate that they changed it so much, cover changes are a pet peeve of mine. I hope you have a great week!

    1. Even more amazing in real life!! Yeah, the original Level 2 was all fluro, but I really like this new style of cover. I think it might even be the same model from the original Level 2 cover! I agree, it was too much of a change, when I put the second book next to my original copy of the first, I can't even tell that they are remotely from the same series. Thanks!

  3. I also have a TOG tote bag and I was laughing-happy-crying at the same time when I got it from my wonderful blogging friend. I'm so excited for this tour (and so happy I'm part of it!) Happy reading :D

    1. Ohh how awesome is it! It's sooo pretty, I want to take it everywhere I go, but then I don't want it to get ruined either! Yes, I can't wait for my stop on the tour! Glad we are part of the Thirteen together!

  4. Just imagine how many books you can fit in that tote! You'll have to beat bloggers off with a stick Gina, I'm pretty sure it's so limited edition that I haven't seen it in any of this weeks book hauls. Nice score.
I really enjoyed Spark, it reminded me a little of Vampire Academy, but much much better. Rachael Craw is absolutely lovely too. Enjoy your new pretties, I'm going to check out the first book in the Memory Chronicles series, I've never heard of it before.
