Stacking the Shelves (25)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.
A very busy week this week!

Thank you Hardie Grant Egmont!

Messenger of Fear (Messenger of Fear #1) by Michael Grant
Look at how cool the final edition of Messenger of Fear is! I've already got an ARC of this book, but having a copy with the actual cover is awesome. Read my review of Messenger of Fear here.

Jenny Plague-Bringer (The Immortals #4) by J.L. Bryan
I love this series!! I randomly found a gift voucher on my Amazon account (surprisingly, seeing as I've ever brought anything from there), and decided to buy this, finally! Can't wait to see what happens in this finale.

The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave #1) by Rick Yancey
I've heard how incredibly awesome this book is, and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. After the book I originally ordered from Bookworld became out of stock, I swapped to this one instead! Happy Days :)

YA Book Exchange

Thanks to trader, Danielle!
Carrier of the Mark (Carrier #1) by Leigh Fallon
I've got the second book in this series, so I jumped at the chance to trade for this book. I've heard mixed reviews about this series, so I'm definitely going to have to give it a shot for myself.

Thanks to trader, Terry!
Ink (The Paper Gods #1) by Amanda Sun
I won an ARC of the second book from the author earlier in the year, so I definitely needed this one to read first. The cover is so cool!! It's like parchment, and feels like it too!!!!!!!

So, everyone probably knows what happened in Sydney this week:
For those of you who don't know, Hachette Australia had an exclusive YA bloggers night, with special guest Laini Taylor!

It was amazing, we were shown a whole heap of new books coming out from Hachette, as well as some that have already been released, plus, we all got to meet each other!!! I got to finally meet Kristy from BookNerd Reviews, Joy (and Alana) from Thoughts by J, Pavan from Keep it Fictional, Sunny from A Sunny Spot, and catch up with Jaz from Fiction in Fiction in Fiction!
The Here and Now by Ann Brashares

A Song for Ella Gray by David Almond

The Walled City by Ryan Graudin

The 100 Society by Carla Spradbery

LAINI TAYLOR! talking about her books and answering our questions.

So, this is me and a LAINI TAYLOR!!!!!!!

She signed my books!!!

And my bookmarks!! Plus, she got a heap of her own too. (You can download these bookmarks below)

We also got some goodies from Hachette!
I'm reading this one now, and OMGGGGGG it's amazing and oh so addictive, I can't put it down.

And we got SWAG!!
