Stacking the Shelves (30)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Purchased from Booktopia
The Sky So Heavy by Claire Zorn
The Protected by Claire Zorn
After always reading raving reviews about Claire Zorn's books, I have finally gotten myself a copy of these two beauties! Can't wait to read them and see what everyone is talking about.

 Purchased from Book Depository
Mila 2.0: Renegade (Mila 2.0 #2) by Debra Driza
The Trap (The Hunt #3) by Andrew Fukuda

The Dark and Hollow Places (The Forest of Hands and Teeth #2) by Carrie Ryan
The Dead-Tossed Waves (The Forest of Hands and Teeth #3) by Carrie Ryan
I finally used some of the money I got from my birthday (ages ago) to complete the unfinished series' that I have on my shelf. But I couldn't help getting tFoHaT because the first book was pretty awesome.

Purchased at the BTCYA party from Dymocks
Corruption (Disruption #2) by Jessica Shirvington
Between the Lives by Jessica Shirvington
Endgame: The Calling (Endgame #1) by James Frey
The Raven's Wing by Frances Watts
The Intern (The Intern #1) by Gabrielle Tozer
Hate is Such a Strong Word by Sarah Ayoub
How to Keep a Boy from Kissing You (How to Keep a Boy from Kissing You #1) by Tara Eglington
I can't wait to read all these books! Corruption is amazing so far, and I've heard so many good things about Between the Lives. Both of those are signed, including all 4 books on the bottom row. All these authors were so nice, and I can't wait to read their novels.

Traded with Emily at The Loony Teen Writer
I traded these books with Emily at the BTCYA party! Thank you so much for these, and we have finally met!

Yesterday I went to the BTCYA Party! It was pretty amazing (just saying).

I got to meet so many new people, including non-bloggers, and some very fabulous authors. My fellow lovely bloggers include Pavan from Keep it Fictional, Joy from Thoughts by J, Sunny from A Sunny Spot, Fran from My Crazy Bookish World and Emily from The Loony Teen Writer.
Unfortunately, because I am a Dory, I forgot to take a photo with the other 4 authors. We were so busy talking it slipped my mind!! Looks like I'm going to have to stalk them and go to another event :P

So, something very very special was there at this party. Yes, it's a book (why would it be anything else??).
I'm reading this book now (I've nearly finished), and it's complete and utter perfection. I'll most likely be fangirling the entire time I write my review of it.
Oh, and it's so shinny

Look, there's me!!!!

Jessica Shirvington and I!!

  1. SO MANY AWESOME BOOKS. I can't wait to start Corruption - just have to remember what happened at the end of Disruption, haha (although Tim at the event pretty much told everyone :P). The Sky So Heavy and The Protected are both amazing - same with...well, all of them. I hope you like The Intern :D so lovely to meet you!! I didn't get a chance to get photos with the authors - definitely next time.

    1. OMG READ IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! It's perfection!!! (I'm not even kidding). lol don't worry about it too much, you remember as soon as you start Corruption. The end to Disruption and the first chapter in Corruption feels like a new chapter starting is all. (haha that was so funny when he did that!) Ohh, I've really got to get into them all, and I can't wait to read the Clare Zorn books :D It was lovely meeting you too! Next even I will make sure we have more time to chat

  2. Oh yay you bought Claire Zorn's books! They're SO good! I loved both of them (though I think I actually loved the Projected more, which is odd, because I'm usually all for the dystopic/actiony ones instead. Hehe. I hope you like them! And I just borrowed The Intern from the library.

OHHHH. That BTYCHA chat looked SO awesome. I sob because I don't live in Sydney. :'( BUT OH MY GOD. I SEE MY BLOG ON THAT SCREEN TOO AND I JUST ADFADSKJFLAS. BUT YOU ARE AWESOME AND CONGRATS FOR GOING AND ALL. And seeing authors! And meeting bloggers! And Corruption! (I'm nearly finished Disruption and it's my favourite.)

    1. I did!! Ohhh really? I'm definitely going to have to pick them up soon :D Can't wait to see what you think of the Intern, I haven't read it yet, but I'm definitely going to.

IT WAS SO AWESOME!! Yes, how cool is it seeing our blogs on the big screen!! Oh, and Corruption is PERFECTION!!!

  3. Woohoo, I'm glad you had so much fun! I really wanted to go but I couldn't make it this time around. Hopefully next time. :D Good luck with all the new books as well. I can't wait to see what you think of them!

    1. Aww no! Hopefully you get to come to the next event! We will definitely have to meet up there :D Thank you! I can't wait to get stuck into them all

Thanks for leaving a comment, I love hearing what you have to say and talking to you all!
