At the Other End:
One misstep and they lose it all. For the last time.

Michael Merrick is used to pressure.

He’s the only parent his three brothers have had for years. His power to control Earth could kill someone if he miscalculates. Now an Elemental Guide has it out for his family, and he’s all that stands in the way.

His girlfriend, Hannah, gets that. She’s got a kid of her own, and a job as a firefighter that could end her life without a moment’s notice.

But there are people who have had enough of Michael’s defiance, his family’s “bad luck.” Before he knows it, Michael’s enemies have turned into the Merricks’ enemies, and they’re armed for war.

They’re not interested in surrender. But Michael isn’t the white flag type anyway. There will be blood on the ground tonight…

An emotional rollercoaster that will leave you breathless. The conclusion to the Elemental series is one you don’t want to miss.

Warning. Read book with caution. Tissues will be used and abused multiple times. I’ve finished and I feel like I’m going to cry again. I can’t even deal. Brigid Kemmerer, what have you done to me?

The worst thing about this, is that it’s the final book and I can’t exactly talk about much without revealing anything. I can’t tell you all how much I loved this book and the rest of this series. The Elementals series will always be treasured to me, plus, have you seen those covers all together!

Oh Michael, I swear, I love you just as much as your brothers. You have surprised me, and now I understand him. Now when I re-read the other books, I will see Michael in a different light, I will actually like his character and understand the things that he does and why. I’m so happy that we got to see Michael’s story, and it’s definitely fitting to have his story last. I love Michael and Hannah together, they are still trying to fit together seamlessly, especially with everything that is going on around them. There definitely could have been a love triangle going on in this book, but I’m very very very happy that it wasn’t.

This book is definitely about sacrifice. It’s about Michael’s sacrifice to keep his brothers safe, to keep everyone he knows safe; to keep them together, and stable and protected. It’s not just about Michael’s sacrifice, it’s about Hannah’s as well and her sacrifice with her relationship with her father, for her job, for James and for Michael. Honestly, there is sacrifice scattered throughout this book, and everyone sacrifices something for the good of everyone else. This book is filled to the brim with action, but not just the kick-ass-y action that I love in these books, but with an emotional one as well and I couldn’t stop crying. Seriously. I. Couldn’t. Stop. This book was heartbreaking and I don’t think I’ll be able to get over it for a while yet.

The ending. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. I loved it through and through. However, I wish there was an epilogue. I really really wished there was one, there are all these questions that I have left still unanswered. I NEED something. I NEED to know what happens! I won’t rest until I find out what happens!! It’s the last book, I need to know! At least a novella or something!

Stalk success!! Turns out that the ending was left open because she might continue the series later on after a few other projects!

Then there's Kate Sullivan, the new girl at school. She's not hostile. She's bold. Funny. Hot. But she's got an agenda, too.

EARTH. FIRE. AIR. WATER.

Nick Merrick is stretched to breaking point. He's trying to keep his grades sky-high or he won't get in to college. He's trying to keep his brother's business afloat or the Merricks will be out on the street. He's trying to keep the secret of where he's going in the evenings from his twin brother Gabriel - or he fears he'll lose his family. And he's trying to keep his mind off the hot, self-assured dancer who is his 'girlfriend's' partner.

And then Quinn takes to hanging around his sworn enemy, and an Elemental Guide is counting the hours until he can try again to kill the Merrick brothers. Storms are brewing. On all sides.

SECRETS IN THE WIND. DANGER IN THE AIR.
