Stacking the Shelves (46)

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Thank you Harper Voyager and Scholastic Australia for sending me these review copies!

Thanks Harper Voyager
The Fire Sermon (The Fire Sermon #1) by Francesca Haig
This book is amazing! I absolutely love it and I've only got 6 more chapters to go!!!! I've got a few little problems that I'm going to hope will sort themselves out in the second book, but other than the one problem, it's a fantastic and unique book that I will definitely be raving about for a long time after I've finished.

Thanks Scholastic Australia
The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury
Ohh, I've heard about how good this book is. Plus, I really like the cover... It's different, and it's a whole lot prettier in person. Trust Me.
I'm not sure what to think about what the press release said, 'A Love Triangle that will make Twilight seem bloodless.' Ummmmmm. I didn't know there was a love triangle in this book!! Please, please, please don't let it be that bad :(

Kristy, you devil!
LOOK AT WHAT SHE SENT IN THE MAIL TO ME!!! Her ARC of Crown of Midnight!!!!!!!!!! Look at how gorgeous it is!!! I just... I can't..... This has made me even more excited for November. And look at how good it is next to my TOG tote :) (Oh, and the pin says, 'You had me at Chapter 1'.. because Date a Book understand us).
Words cannot express how lucky I am to have you as a friend, and for you to want to be able to send me your ARC of a series that you love!

  1. I am not going to lie, I do love the ToG series... and Sarah is firmly cementing her spot in as my second favourite author... but I just needed you to have this book!
You are one of my favourite peeps, and Sarah is "that" author for you, so I will always willingly give you any of my Sarah related things that you want:) I will always support your fangirling!!!
I am just glad you like it xxx

    1. I know... I know... Love you girly :D I would so do that for you as well if I had a Laini thing that you didn't. xx I LOVE it!

    2. I know you would... and I love you for it xxx

  2. The Fire Sermon sounds so good, I've only heard good things about it so far and can't wait to get my hands on it. I have been waiting for The Sin Eater's Daughter to be released for what feels like forever, this is one of my must read books for this year, it sounds like it is going to be amazing. I hope it is because I have such high expectations for it.

    1. The Fire Sermon was brilliant. I absolutely loved it, and I cannot wait for the next one. I had a few tiny problems at the end, but nothing that spoilt the book for me. I just finished The Sin Eater's Daughter and that was just as good, if not better! I really hope you like them both and get around to reading them soon :) It should be out in stores round about now!

  3. Aww, isn't she lovely, that Hooters really IS an awesome friend isn't she. It's hard to return the favour with her too, the only thing she probably DOESN'T have is a lock of Laini's hair. Wouldn't surprise me if she even has that.

I've heard awesome things about The Fire Sermon and can't wait until it's released to grab a copy. I'm reading The Sin Eater's Daughter next as well. Reading The Last Place at the moment and I just love that series and really sorry to see it ending.

    1. Definitely! Hmm, well she has met Laini a few times, so it really wouldn't surprise me if she sneakily got one.

It was amazing, you should definitely read it, as well as The Sin Eater's Daughter. Sin isn't very action focused, but it's still really great. Oh, I've got to read that soon!

Thanks for leaving a comment, I love hearing what you have to say and talking to you all!
