Stacking the Shelves (49) & Proven by Kristen Day Cover Reveal

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Thank you Allen & Unwin and Penguin Teen Australia for sending me these review copies!

 Thanks Allen & Unwin Australia
Pandora Jones: Reckoning (Pandora Jones #3) by Barry Jonsberg
I'm so freaking excited for more PJ! The first book in the series was really really good, and I'm looking forward to reading the second and final book back to back... I might even just re-read the first one while I'm at it!
You can see my review of Pandora Jones: Admission (Pandora Jones #1) here.

Thanks Penguin TEEN Australia
Half Wild (Half Life #2) by Sally Green
THIS COVER IS BEAUTIFUL AND GREEN! Sorry, got a bit carried away from the pretty green and the awesome wolf.
So,... I've already finished it, and it was even better than the first one. I can say with confidence and gusto that I love Nathan! He is the protagonist that you hardly ever see, and it is fantastic. This is a series that I will be able to re-read and then rate the entire trilogy 5. It's a series that I know will be even better by binge-reading them. I absolutely cannot wait for the final book in the trilogy, those feels from the ending! JUST WOW! This is now one of my fave series.

DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THERE IS A SALE ON THE SCHOLASTIC WEBSITE?!?!
I purchased two entire series from the sale earlier this week and I'm so happy with burning through my wallet for these. Hey, it's a book sale alright! HOW CAN YOU RESIST 50% OFF YOUR ORDER?

Blood Red Road, Rebel Heart and Raging Star (Blood Red Road trilogy) by Moira Young
I originally had the first book in the original cover with the raven on it. I didn't like the cover, but I found it while browsing at a cheap bookstore so I brought it. Now look at the gorgeous new covers, and that's only the spine :)

The Raven Boys and The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #1 & 2) by Maggie Stiefvater
Are you guys proud of me or what?! I now own two series by the infamous Maggie Stiefvater. Ok, so I haven't read any of them yet, but I will get to them soon, I promise! But while you guys are waiting for that to happen, just look at the pretties. They look amazing both with their cover and without. Yep, this is definitely book porn and I regret nothing.

Thanks Hannah Reads Books for these!
The Vespertine (The Vespertine #1) by Saundra Mitchell
Hunting Lila (Lila #1) by Sarah Alderson
Hopeless by Colleen Hoover
Firstly, I just want to say a massive thank you to Hannah for these. Secondly, I definitely envy Hannah's stationary. When you open the card it has a pop-up typewriter!! It's so cool!
I've been wanting to read/own The Vespertine for a long time, but I've never gotten around to reading it or purchasing it. Her short story in the Grim anthology was the best in the collection. Read by review of it here.
I've heard about Hunting Lila since it has come out. I'm intrigued by the blurb and I have this particular urge to just read this trilogy. I haven't heard anyone talk about it in a while (probably because they're all out now, I think), but I'm hoping that it turns out to be a great series.
I've literally been seeing Colleen Hoover books everywhere. Honestly, her books are all over Instagram, so I've had no choice but to take a leap and own one of her books. Thanks to Kristy for recommending Hopeless as (your fave) and one to try first. I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about.

I haven't talked about this series recently, but I really do need to again because of how amazing it really is. I've loved every single one of these books, and this series is a must read for everyone. There is also a bonus of having such a funny, friendly and cool author. Oh, and did you guys know that I make her official bookmarks?! *internally squeals*

Kristen Day is a southern belle at heart with a crazy streak that desperately tries to escape at every opportunity.  She loves all things nostalgic, rustic, and quirky.  She’s been told she sees the world through rose-colored glasses, but she prefers to think of them as kaleidoscope glasses - swirling and morphing reality into something she can digest (who hasn't pretended those pasty lima beans were really kiwi strawberry jelly beans?).

She is the author of the DAUGHTERS OF THE SEA trilogy, which includes FORSAKEN, AWAKEN (Oct 2012), and CHOSEN (Winter 2012).  She loves all books, but really enjoys writing young adult, paranormal romances.  She’s loved to write for as long as she can remember.  Her first published work was her poem RED in second grade (you guessed it - it was a poem about the color red - life altering, right?) that won her 5 gold stars and a spot in her elementary school's poetry book. That's when her addiction to the written word officially began.  She was the only kid in fifth grade that actually enjoyed diagramming sentences. Go ahead and laugh - its okay.

When she’s not writing she’s making jewelry, painting, feeding her addiction to sweet tea, watching the Discovery Channel, or going on random adventures in the mountains of North Carolina with her amazing husband. She was born in Boone, NC and graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Marketing in 2001.
