At the Other End:
Bryn Aven refuses to give up on her dream of serving the kingdom she loves. It's a dream that brings her to a whole new realm…the glittering palace of the Skojare.

The Skojare people need protection from the same brutal enemy that's been threatening the Kanin, and Bryn is there to help. Being half Skojare herself, it's also a chance for her to learn more about her lost heritage. Her boss Ridley Dresden is overseeing the mission, but as their undeniable attraction heats up, their relationship is about to reach a whole new level--one neither of them is prepared for.

As they delve deeper into the Skojare world, they begin to unravel a long-hidden secret. The dark truth about her own beloved Kanin kingdom is about to come to light, and it'll change her place in it forever…and threaten everyone she loves.

A political and strategic sequel that will leave you guessing at who the bad guys are, and at the same time, hanging for more swoon-worthy moments.

Wow, yep this series is definitely better than the Trylle trilogy for me. It's all action and one couple romance that leaves you weak at the knees. This book wondering the entire time about who the culprit it, and even though I guessed who it was at halfway, it was still enjoyable and I even thought of other people and other circumstances despite knowing who it really was anyway.

I really enjoyed the ship in this book. Ridley and Bryn finally work everything out, even if it's too late. They didn't really get time together in this book, and I really ended up longing for them to finally be back in each other's presence again. I found that that was really all I could think about half the time, and I didn't mind it to be honest. They are perfect for each other, and it was never insta-love either, they were friends before it all started.

What I didn't really like was all the recapping. It felt too much, and I just felt like yelling, I know this already! It felt like all the dumb stuff was being retold throughout the entire book, to the point where it basically dumbs it all down for you and makes you feel like a child. Maybe it was just me because I only read Frostfire and the Trylle trilogy two books before this one. What do you all think? Am I being too rash?

I cannot believe the ending. It seriously took me out from under and I don't know what to say or do. AND THAT LAST SENTENCE... I cannot compute this. WHYYY can't I have the last book now? There really needs to be a whole heap of things happen in Crystal Kingdom. I cannot wait until August!! (But seriously though, I'm really happy that it's only August and not next year sometime)
