About Us

Gina is a bibliophile from Sydney, Australia and has always been obsessed with reading. You can always find her online fangirling endlessly about Sarah J Maas, or spending all her money on Rhysand fan art. She is a designer of bookmarks, and a maker of soaps. You will always find her re-posting her customers photos on Instagram because hers honestly suck and maybe if you're lucky, talking with Aelin (pictured) about why she needs to get back with Chaol.

Favorite Author
-Sarah J Maas because she is a Queen above all others, and I would most likely frame her shopping list.

Favorite Book/Series
-A Court of Mist and Fury by Queen Sarah J. Maas

Favorite Genre
-Fantasy! I have a particular weakness for Russian Fantasy though....

What book/ series would you always recommend to everyone?
-A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES TRILOGY AND THE THRONE OF GLASS SERIES because it's from Queen Sarah J Maas and Rhysand & Chaol are bae.

Least favorite genre
-Contemporary. For some reason I can't get into it, unless it's amazing like All The Bright Places (curse you Jennifer Niven!!)

Reviewer, Bookstagrammer, Obsesser of AEITA

At 21, the only thing Brittany is great at, is crying over books. She is an avid reader of Young Adult books. A bookseller at Barnes and Noble College, Brittany aspires to run her own bookstore, and one day find a career in publishing. She constantly blabs about her cinnabon baby roll, Elias Veturius and An Ember in the Ashes, and how that book is her lifeline. Known to buy books based on their covers, she sometimes skips chapters. Then she regrets it. She also has an outstanding collection of bookmarks, but continues to use her AEITA one. You can usually find her crying about how her latest read killed her soul.

Favorite Author
-I would sacrifice my firstborn to meet Sabaa Tahir so maybe she’s my favorite author, although I’ve only read one book by her!

Favorite Book/Series
-An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Favorite Genre
-Fantasy…My bookshelves mainly consist of fantasy, young adult books!

What book/ series would you always recommend to everyone?
-AN EMBER IN THE ASHES BY SABAA TAHIR IS THE ONLY BOOK I EVER RE COMMEND! Are you looking for some romance? CHECK. Evil villain? CHECK. Female character that you can relate to? CHECK. Gorgeous, heartbreaking male character with internal conflict? DOUBLE CHECK. There is more than that, but AEITA is so beautifully written, it will always be my first recommendation. And my second, and third.

Least favorite genre
-I’m going to lean towards science-fiction for right now. Anything with science or math puts me off VERY QUICKLY. I got to the middle of The Martian by Andy Weir and was reminded every moment of the D I received in Chemistry. It’s gonna be a no from me, dawg. (***Randy Jackson voice***)
